Puppets and Paul go way back , to 1994 when I first bottled for the famous Professor Panic ,The finest Punch and Judy Professor in all the land of Blighty, Oh the tales I could tell! That Mr Punch was such that you had to be on your toes!
I have also had the pleasure of working with and for Tears of Joy Puppet Theater for the past six years both as a performance artist and an outreach teacher. I have been leading a Circus and MaskMaking and Puppet summer camp at The Portland Center for The performing Arts for five years.
Puppet Workshops
This workshop ignites the imagination and is a great introduction to puppetry. This workshop includes Glove Puppet performance, puppet manipulation skills, individual and group story formation. These are followed by the opportunity to present your own stories from one of Circus Cascadia’s specially made puppet booths.
Play, learn, grow!
These are some photos from a Puppet Summer camp at NECC,Portland
Campers made all the puppets and performed Mushroom in the Rain.
Puppet Making Workshops
The puppet workshop provides an enabling and educational environment for the participants to learn and gain new creative skills through play. This workshop includes a wide variety from Glove Puppets, Rod Puppets,
and Shadow Puppets to Giant Articulated
Multi-person Operated Puppets.
